Every renovation involves unknowns; the difference is how they're handled. If you choose to make a change mid-project (a different material, an added feature), we cost it, discuss it with you, and confirm it in writing before proceeding. If something genuinely unforeseen arises, it's handled the same way: openly, in writing, and agreed with you first. No hidden extras, no surprise invoices at the end.
Many loft conversions fall under Permitted Development Rights, which means no formal planning application is required. This typically applies to Velux and standard dormer conversions. Some properties — particularly in conservation areas or Article 4 zones — may require a full planning application. We assess your property at the outset and manage the entire planning process if required. You don't need to deal with it yourself.
